Hi, my name is naivety and I manage dozens of streamers’ YouTube channels, from ideation to day to day operation. This newsletter, is an experimental space for me to promote entertaining stream ideas that should perform well on YouTube assuming your packaging is done properly. Each week, I will highlight some of the best content I have spotted on YouTube or Twitch and include a brief summary of who will benefit most from featuring said content.
As always, when considering packaging try to innovate on the formula produced by others. Don’t simply copy and paste their titles and thumbnails, as that is a surefire way to perform worse than the creator you’re trying to emulate.
if you struggle coming up with ideas for packaging or need someone to help direct your longform strategy, please contact me through the form at the bottom of this page or follow this link.
This entire newsletter was inspired by the incredible Streamer University course taught by Ludwig across a period of 4 days. Last night, Ludwig’s editor compiled all 4 classes into a highly digestible YouTube video, leaving you no excuse not to react to the video on stream or watch at your own leisure for some much needed inspiration.

If you’re like most creators I work with, you’ve likely already reacted to the $200,000 LEGO heist that has been featured on Reckless Ben’s YouTube channel. The other day, Ben uploaded another 15 minute update to his series which will be great reaction content for viewers already engaged to the topic.

Unlike the previous section, the videos linked below each game should be used as a guide for how your video should be formatted. The creators featured in this section are not necessarily the first people to post said games on their channels, but they are the ones who executed the packaging best.
The first game is this list, is one I am not going to name in full in an attempt to stay off of any government list. Ironically it is that same title that makes this such a good game to play on stream in the first place. The video titles practically write themselves and the game’s semi-realistic look brings it all together perfectly.

A long time theory I’ve had about streamers is that they’re all gambling addicts. Whether its ripping Pokemon packs or losing it all at the casino (see also “Gamble with Your Friends”), you all love to set money on fire. A CS:GO case opening roguelike seems like the most natural evolution then, especially when you consider it will also engage the roguelike fanbase in your community who always thirst for more innovative games.

The final title in today’s list is a few weeks late. Although I wouldn’t consider myself a regular Slimecicle viewer, I watched the entirety of his Unloop playthrough in VOD format. No edits, no cuts, because the game lends itself to endless roleplay opportunities and Slimecicle executed on that format perfectly.
Each round, you solve puzzles through the help of your endless clones, who are previous iterations of you who talk, move, and shoot just like you did in the past. This game is VR only unfortunately, but its format will be entertaining for non-VR streamers as well. This game is perfect fodder for shortform clips as well as highly rewatchable and shareable VODs if you’re willing to focus on skits over puzzle solving.
